Writing about health, medicine, and the business of medicine

I’ve been fortunate to have had a medical magazine column that allowed me to write about emerging and important technology being introduced and used in human healthcare. Writing about medicine allowed me to ask questions of doctors and inventors who are not readily accessible to most people. I took my job seriously, asking those questions I thought my readers want answers to.

I’m still curious about human healthcare, especially how the business of medicine and the technology behind medicine each permit the delivery of effective and life-changing, if not life-extending, healthcare to healthy and to compromised individuals. I am especially curious about the individual stories behind each cure, each improvement, and each loss.
